About this fabric

This 488 gsm velvet has a warm citrus-stone character, sitting between softened olive, antique gold and beige rather than reading as a bright yellow. Delicate, repeated willow boughs appear in lighter threads across the face, creating a small-scale botanical texture with an almost etched quality. The 135 cm usable width is paired with a 45.5 cm vertical repeat and 22.5 cm horizontal repeat, so pattern placement should be considered when upholstering larger pieces. Supplied at 68 threads per cm, with a standard length of 35 m, it brings a dense, substantial presence to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Pair this muted olive-gold colourway with chalky stone, warm cream and aged wood for a softly layered scheme. Its close botanical pattern works especially well on a statement chair, headboard or compact sofa where the velvet’s depth can be seen up close.
