About this fabric

This plain Morris & Co. velvet reads as a cool, earthy olive rather than a bright or yellow green, with fine tonal variation visible across the nap. At 556 gsm, it has a substantial handle that is particularly well suited to upholstery. The fabric has a 134 cm usable width and a 0 cm pattern repeat in both directions, making the unbroken colour easy to position across upholstered forms. A thread density of 51.5 threads per centimetre contributes to the closely woven appearance visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this deep olive colourway on a tailored sofa, armchair or headboard where its dense velvet nap can create gentle light-and-shadow movement. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and soft stone neutrals to balance the shade’s grounded, woodland character.
