About this fabric

The design is built from symmetrical stems, curling leaves and small floral details, arranged in a repeating formal damask layout. Its soft grey-greige background feels cool and muted, while the pale ivory pattern brings definition without a stark colour contrast. At 549 gsm and 26.8 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial, closely formed handle suited to upholstery. The 128 cm usable width carries a 46 cm vertical repeat and 43.5 cm horizontal repeat, with a standard length of 32 m.

How to use it

Use this cool greige colourway on a statement armchair, dining seats or a traditional sofa, where the ivory foliage can sit against chalk, stone and charcoal accents. The muted ground also works with warm timber, allowing the formal pattern to feel lighter rather than overly ornate.

Pair the cool greige ground with ivory, chalk or deeper charcoal upholstery for a softly contrasted scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
