Brocatello Beige/Gold
Damask The Alchemy of Colour Fabrics FabricZOF0001-03
Brocatello Beige/Gold has a warm, honeyed beige ground layered with antique-gold damask motifs. The close tonal contrast allows the scrolling foliage and floral forms to emerge through the lightly textured woven surface.

About this fabric
The design is filled with curling acanthus-like leaves, ornate scrolls and lobed floral shapes, arranged in a large, balanced repeat with a softly vintage character. Its beige-and-gold palette is warm rather than bright, with the gold catching the light gently against the muted ground instead of appearing highly metallic. At 300 gsm and 97 threads per cm, the fabric has the visual density of a substantial mid-weight furnishing cloth suited to both upholstery and drapery. It has a 140 cm usable width, a 72.5 cm vertical repeat and a 70 cm horizontal repeat, with a standard length of 60 m.
How to use it
Pair this warm beige and antique-gold colourway with walnut, aged brass and creamy upholstery for a layered traditional room. Its large repeat is especially effective on statement curtains, headboards or occasional upholstered pieces where the scrolling pattern can be aligned carefully.
Use the warm beige and antique-gold damask to bring softly lit, traditional richness to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Brocatello Beige/Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
