About this fabric

The repeating faces are rendered in loose, expressive lines, with charcoal contours, cool grey-blue shading and occasional soft washes across the ivory background. This colourway reads as restrained and cool rather than stark, as the softened marks allow plenty of the pale ground to remain visible. At 265 gsm and 33.8 threads per cm, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight cloth rather than a sheer fabric. The 138 cm usable width is organised by a 67.5 cm vertical repeat and a 69 cm horizontal repeat, giving the portrait arrangement a clear, regular rhythm.

How to use it

Use the cool charcoal-and-ivory palette to add an artistic focal point to a calm sitting room, whether across an occasional chair, cushions or full-length curtains. Pair it with chalky neutrals and blue-grey accents to echo the softer washes within the faces without competing with the motif.
