Odell Wedgwood Blue

Indienne Fabrics FabricZOF0091-04

Odell Wedgwood Blue has a cool, pale Wedgwood-blue ground marked with dense, broken botanical detail. Narrow vertical bands give the surface a softly ordered rhythm while the irregular marks keep it from feeling stark.

About this fabric

This Zoffany Indienne fabric weighs 725 gsm, giving it a substantial handle suited to upholstery. The design combines pale blue columns with closely scattered, twig-like botanical marks in a slightly deeper blue, creating gentle contrast rather than a high-impact stripe. It has a 137 cm usable width, with a 11.7 cm vertical repeat and a 34.5 cm horizontal repeat. At 27 threads per centimetre, the closely constructed surface supports the pattern’s detailed, softly textured appearance.

How to use it

Pair this cool Wedgwood blue with chalky whites, natural timber and warm oat tones on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard. The vertical bands can also help give a broad upholstered piece a subtle sense of height.

Use this weighty blue textile on occasional chairs, sofas or headboards where its vertical pattern can add quiet structure.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
