Stanton Linen Teal

Stanton Linen Teal is a softly muted blue-green linen with a quiet, finely textured surface. The close-up reveals a subtle crosswoven grain, giving the colour gentle variation rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

Made from 100% linen and supplied at 140 cm (55") wide, Stanton Linen Teal has a natural woven texture that gives its cool teal tone a softened, slightly weathered depth. The restrained blue-green shade remains calm and versatile, while the fine irregularity of the weave catches the light in delicate lighter and darker threads. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 35,000 Martindale rub test. Care requirements are professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this cool, greyed teal to bring depth to a pale neutral scheme, or pair it with warm timber and ivory upholstery for a balanced, quietly coastal feel. Its understated linen texture works particularly well on relaxed curtains, occasional seating and layered bedspreads.

A cool, softened teal linen with a finely irregular weave, equally suited to relaxed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
