Tetbury Velvet Teal is a deep, cool teal velvet with an almost blue-green, near-charcoal depth. Its plain surface is animated by soft, brushed changes in tone as the nap catches the light.

About this fabric

The dense velvet has a subtly clouded, directional surface, with low-lit teal areas giving way to softer blue-green highlights across the swatch. It is made from 92% cotton and 8% polyester, with a 140 cm (55") width. A 50,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for fixed and loose upholstery, as well as the listed curtain and bedspread uses. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this dark teal as a dramatic anchor on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard, where its shaded nap adds depth without a printed motif. It also brings a cool, sophisticated tone to curtains or bedspreads, especially alongside warm timber and softly reflective metal.
