Drayton Teal

Essential Colour III - Colour FabricBF11183.615

Drayton Teal presents as a cool, subdued blue-green with a fine woven grain visible across the plain surface. Its charcoal-grey cast gives the colour depth without the brightness of a jewel-toned teal.

About this fabric

This near-solid fabric has a gently crosswoven texture, with fine horizontal and vertical variation creating a softly mottled appearance in the swatch. The composition is 34% viscose, 32% cotton, 17% linen and 17% polyester, and the fabric is 137 cm wide. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery and bedspreads, while the 40,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on seating and other frequently handled furnishings. After care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Drayton Teal to bring a cool blue-green note to curtains or a loose upholstered chair, particularly alongside warm wood, stone neutrals and brushed metal. Its softened grey undertone also works well as a grounding bedspread colour rather than a vivid accent.

A versatile muted teal woven for curtains, loose upholstery and bedspreads, with enough visual texture to suit both modern and classic rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
