About this fabric
The small red-and-blue check has a subtly softened appearance rather than a high-contrast graphic effect, with the cool blue tempering the warmer red. Composed of 55% viscose, 25% polyester and 20% linen, this 135 cm (53.04") wide fabric is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its vertical pattern repeat is 3 cm (1.18") and its horizontal repeat is 3.5 cm (1.38"), keeping the check visually neat across a larger surface. Arundel Check Red/Blue must not be washed, bleached or ironed and requires professional dry cleaning.
How to use it
Use this red-and-blue colourway to bring gentle colour and tailored rhythm to a reading chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme. Pair it with warm pale neutrals to draw out the softened red, or cooler blue-grey accents to emphasise the check’s calmer side.
A tightly woven small-scale check in softened red, blue and pale neutral tones for curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Arundel Check Red/Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
