Talbot Teal
Essential Colour III - Colour FabricBF11178.615
Talbot Teal has a pale, cool seafoam character, softened by fine woven variation across the surface. Its quiet blue-green tone is shown here as a subtle, textural plain rather than a patterned design.

About this fabric
The close-up reveals a lightly flecked weave with fine horizontal slubs and gentle tonal movement, giving the muted teal colour a natural, tactile depth. This fabric is 137 cm (53.82") wide and is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its composition combines 45% viscose, 16% polyester, 12% linen, 11% cotton, 11% recycled cotton, 4% acrylic and 1% polyamide. A 20,000 Martindale rub test supports its use across both decorative and upholstered applications; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.
How to use it
Use Talbot Teal to bring a cool, softened blue-green layer to a relaxed room, particularly on a chair, sofa or full-length curtain. Pair its pale seafoam tone with chalky neutrals, bleached timber and deeper teal accents to draw out the weave's subtle depth.
A softly textured mid-weight weave that brings a pale, cool teal note to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Talbot Teal is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
