Arundel Check Red/Green
Essential Colour III - Colour FabricBF11180.4
Arundel Check Red/Green shows a tightly ordered miniature check, with muted red and green squares interlaced by warm cream flecks. The close scale gives the surface a softly textured, woven appearance rather than a bold graphic effect.

About this fabric
This 55% viscose, 25% polyester and 20% linen cloth has a finely balanced red-and-green check that reads earthy, softly muted and gently warm in the swatch. The small pattern creates a subtly mottled surface as the red, green and cream tones meet, adding depth without overwhelming the weave. At 135 cm wide, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The vertical pattern repeat is 3 cm and the horizontal repeat is 3.5 cm, while care requires professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.
How to use it
Use this red-and-green colourway on a buttoned or loose-cover chair where its small check can feel tailored without becoming busy. It also suits curtains or a bedspread paired with warm cream, aged timber and restrained botanical accents.
A finely scaled red and green check that brings tailored country character to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Arundel Check Red/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
