About this fabric

Woven from 47% viscose, 33% cotton and 20% linen, Astell Ochre has a fine cross-weave that gives the plain surface gentle visual depth without a strong motif. The 140 cm (55") width suits curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 45,000 Martindale rub test makes it a practical choice for regularly used upholstered pieces. The fabric has a 2 cm (.79") vertical pattern repeat and a 2.5 cm (.98") horizontal repeat; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this warm ochre shade to bring a softly sunlit quality to an upholstered chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme. Pair it with chalky neutrals, natural timber and deeper rust or olive accents to draw out its muted golden depth.
