About this fabric

Made from 47% viscose, 33% cotton and 20% linen, Astell Aqua has a fine, even weave that reads almost plain from a distance. The soft blue-green shade is lightly muted, with a subtle warm cast visible across the delicate surface texture rather than a strong saturated aqua. At 140 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The fabric is recorded with a 45,000 Martindale rub test, and its 2 cm vertical and 2.5 cm horizontal pattern repeats reflect the restrained structure of the weave.

How to use it

Use Astell Aqua to bring a quiet wash of cool colour to an upholstered chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme. It pairs naturally with chalky whites, pale timber and warm natural neutrals, which bring out the shade’s gentle depth without overpowering its fine texture.
