Stanton Linen Peacock

Tetbury Linens FabricBF11127.792

Stanton Linen Peacock is a softly textured plain linen in a cool, muted blue-green. Its lightly irregular surface gives the colour a gently nuanced, natural appearance rather than a flat block of teal.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen, this 140 cm (55") fabric shows a fine, softly slubbed texture with subtle shifts between pale peacock blue and grey-green. The restrained colour has a calm, airy quality, while the visible weave adds enough depth for upholstery and larger soft furnishings. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Do not wash, bleach or iron; this fabric must be dry cleaned professionally.

How to use it

Use this cool peacock blue-green on a relaxed armchair, loose cover or upholstered headboard, pairing it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and brushed metal. As curtains or a bedspread, its lightly mottled linen surface will bring soft colour without overwhelming a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
