Drayton Sage
Essential Colour III - Colour FabricBF11183.790
Drayton Sage appears as a quiet, earthy sage-taupe with a fine, even woven texture. Its softly varied surface gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric
Made from 34% viscose, 32% cotton, 17% linen and 17% polyester, this 137 cm wide fabric has a subtle plain weave visible across the swatch. The muted sage tone leans warm and natural, with a lightly softened appearance that changes gently across the surface. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery and bedspreads, it also carries a 40,000 Martindale rub test. Care requires professional dry cleaning; it should not be washed, bleached or ironed.
How to use it
Use Drayton Sage to bring a grounded green-grey note to a sofa, loose cover or bedspread, pairing it with warm woods, oatmeal upholstery and aged brass. As curtains, its restrained earthy tone will soften a room without introducing a strong pattern.
A softly textured sage-taupe weave for relaxed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Drayton Sage is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
