Hidden Wallcovering Chalk

This Chalk colourway reads as a luminous, warm neutral: broad pale shapes drift across an almost white ground, with beige areas adding gentle definition. The irregular arrangement gives the wall pattern movement without introducing a strong dark accent.

About this wallpaper

Hidden Wallcovering Chalk is a wallpaper design built from broad, irregular silhouettes rather than a small repeat. Against a warm, near-white chalk ground, the overlapping shapes move between pale cream and soft beige, keeping the contrast quiet. The forms have subtly softened, uneven edges, giving the surface an abstract, cut-paper character rather than a crisp geometric finish. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use it across a bedroom, hallway or calm sitting room where its warm chalk ground can work as a light neutral. Pair the pale beige shapes with natural timber, oat upholstery and other softly warm tones rather than sharp white or high-contrast accents.

Use this warm, pale neutral to create a softly layered backdrop without strong contrast.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hidden Wallcovering Chalk without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
