Trentham Oatmeal has a softly warm, creamy-beige ground with a very fine woven texture. Its close, understated grain gives the swatch a calm depth without a pronounced decorative motif.

About this fabric

This GP & J Baker fabric combines 14% cotton, 47% viscose, 20% linen and 19% polyester in a 137 cm (53.82") width. The oatmeal tone reads warmer than a cool grey beige, with delicate changes in light across the fine crosshatched weave. A subtle 1.5 cm (.59") horizontal pattern repeat adds quiet structure while keeping the surface visually restrained. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use Trentham Oatmeal to bring a softly warm neutral to an upholstered chair, sofa or bedspread, or let it filter light as relaxed curtains. Pair its creamy beige tone with natural wood, chalky whites and muted earthy accents.

A warm, finely woven neutral suited to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
