About this fabric

This swatch is a saturated rust red, with the warm depth of burnt terracotta rather than a bright orange. Its plain velvet surface has a fine, low pile that shifts subtly from darker red to coppery highlights as the nap catches the light. Made from 100% Polyester Fr, it is 140 cm (55") wide and specified for fixed upholstery. A 100,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on hard-working upholstered seating; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this warm rust colour on a tailored armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its burnt-red depth can become the room’s richest accent. Pair it with warm neutrals, aged timber or dark metal to reinforce the velvet’s softly luxurious character.
