About this fabric

This colourway presents a saturated aubergine purple, reading darker and more atmospheric in the shaded areas of the swatch and warmer where the velvet pile reflects light. Its plain surface has the characteristic soft, low-directional variation of velvet rather than a visible printed motif or woven pattern. Made from 100% Polyester Fr and supplied at 140 cm (55") wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery. A 100,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on hard-wearing upholstered pieces; care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Pair this deep aubergine with warm timber, aged brass and muted neutrals for a cocooning scheme, or use it as a dramatic accent on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair.
