Fairfax Green has a softly irregular horizontal stripe, woven from pale sage, cream, beige and restrained peach-green threads. The fine linear texture gives the colourway a gently weathered, layered appearance rather than a flat green ground.

About this fabric

This 140 cm (55") fabric combines 57% Cotton, 24% Viscose, 13% Linen, 3% Polyester, 2% Wool and 1% Nylon in a closely textured weave. Fine horizontal bands shift between cool sage, warm oat, ivory and muted sandy tones, with small flecks and uneven lines adding depth across the surface. A 26 cm (10.21") vertical pattern repeat keeps the stripe rhythm controlled for making-up. With a 40,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use Fairfax Green on a relaxed armchair, bench or loose-covered sofa, then echo its pale sage and oat notes in plain linen curtains or cushions. Its softened, low-contrast stripe also suits a calm upholstered bedspread where the horizontal texture can read at close range.
