Fairfax Aqua presents a finely layered horizontal stripe in pale aqua, soft cream and restrained blush-pink tones. The close-up shows a tactile woven surface, with narrow patterned lines and irregular bands giving the colourway gentle depth.

About this fabric

The cool aqua ground is softened by warm cream, beige and muted blush threads, creating a quiet, weathered appearance rather than a bright or highly saturated blue. Fine horizontal bands and tiny repeated woven details catch the light unevenly across the surface, emphasising its textile texture. Made from 57% Cotton, 24% Viscose, 13% Linen, 3% Polyester, 2% Wool and 1% Nylon, the fabric is 140 cm (55 inches) wide and has a 26 cm (10.21 inch) vertical pattern repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 40,000 Martindale rub test; care instructions are professional dry clean only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Fairfax Aqua to bring a cool, muted lift to an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, pairing its pale aqua stripes with warm ivory, natural linen and dusty blush. Its 140 cm width and relaxed woven texture also make it suitable for softly tailored curtains or a coordinated bedspread.
