Fairfax Ochre/Coral

Burford Weaves FabricBF11036.5

Fairfax Ochre/Coral is a softly textured horizontal weave layered with warm ochre, pale cream and fine coral lines. Its close-set bands create a gently variegated surface, with the coral details adding warmth rather than strong contrast.

About this fabric

Woven from 57% cotton, 24% viscose, 13% linen, 3% polyester, 2% wool and 1% nylon, this 140 cm fabric has a tactile, finely ridged appearance. The ochre ground gives the colourway a sun-warmed depth, while muted coral and blush-pink threads appear in delicate horizontal accents across the cream and beige base. A 26 cm vertical pattern repeat adds measured rhythm without making the stripe effect feel bold. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 40,000 Martindale rub test for practical everyday use.

How to use it

Use Fairfax Ochre/Coral on a relaxed upholstered chair, headboard or loose cover where its warm ochre base can anchor a room. Echo the coral threads with muted terracotta, dusty rose or natural linen, while the pale bands sit comfortably beside warm neutrals.

A warm, finely striped weave that brings ochre depth and soft coral accents to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
