About this fabric

The pattern combines large outlined flowers, curling stems, small leaves and scattered star-like blossoms in muted red, dusty blue, olive and pale gold. Against the cream background, the red accents feel warm and lively while the blue flowers add a cooler counterpoint. It is woven in 67% linen, 26% viscose and 7% polyester, with a 130 cm (51.07") width. The floral repeat measures 59 cm (23.18") vertically by 65 cm (25.54") horizontally, and the fabric is specified for curtains and bedspreads; it must be professionally dry cleaned and not washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use Langley Red/Blue for full-length curtains where its cream ground can brighten the room, then echo the dusty reds and blue accents in bed linen or upholstered accessories. Its botanical scale also suits a coordinated bedspread without losing the pattern’s lighter, woven feel.

A softly woven floral in a cream, red and blue palette, suited to curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
