About this fabric

The fabric is composed of 57% Cotton, 24% Viscose, 13% Linen, 3% Polyester, 2% Wool and 1% Nylon, giving the stripe a visibly woven, softly textured character. At 140 cm wide, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 26 cm vertical pattern repeat is formed by recurring narrow bands, dotted lines and varied horizontal stripes rather than a large isolated motif. A 40,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on seating, while care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Fairfax Red/Green to add gentle colour to a country or classically detailed room, pairing its dusty coral and sage bands with warm ivory, aged timber and understated green upholstery. Turn the horizontal rhythm into a feature on a loose-cover chair, tailored blind or upholstered bedhead.

A refined horizontal stripe that brings muted coral red, sage green and ivory together across upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
