Snowhill Green/Russet

Burford FabricBF11033.1

Snowhill Green/Russet brings a softly faded garden arrangement to a pale green ground, with russet paisleys, blue-grey flowers and delicate lilac details. The closely spaced motifs create a richly decorative surface without becoming visually heavy.

About this fabric

This Burford colourway combines a cool sage-green and stone-toned background with warm russet, muted blue-grey, dusty lilac and olive botanical accents. Stylised flowers, curling leaves and paisley-like forms are arranged in a repeating pattern, giving the cloth a distinctly traditional character with plenty of fine detail. It is 133 cm (52.25 inches) wide, with a 64 cm vertical repeat and a 67 cm horizontal repeat. Made from 48% linen, 46% cotton and 6% polyester, it is specified for curtains and bedspreads and must be professionally dry cleaned rather than washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the sage ground as the room’s quiet base, then draw out the russet paisleys in cushions, piping or painted woodwork. As curtains or a bedspread, its blue-grey and lilac flowers work especially well with aged neutrals and softly weathered timber.

A softly traditional floral with sage, russet, blue-grey and lilac accents on a pale green ground, suited to curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
