Burford Embroidery Blue/Red places richly coloured floral stems across a soft cream ground. Fine blue scrolling outlines create a repeating lattice, while coral-red blooms bring warmth and focus to the design.

About this fabric

The embroidery combines cool blue dotted trails with coral, scarlet and muted red flowers, alongside green leaves and small yellow accents. Its 10% spun polyester, 54% linen and 36% viscose composition gives the 128 cm wide cloth a natural, softly textured appearance. The floral arrangement has a 77 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 64 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the scrolling structure to read clearly across curtains or bedspreads. This fabric is specified for curtains and bedspreads and must be professionally dry cleaned; it should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the cream ground to keep a room light, then draw out the cool blue tracery with blue-painted joinery or upholstery accents. Coral-red cushions or lampshades can echo the larger blooms without overpowering the quieter leafy details.
