About this fabric

The design is visibly fine and fluid rather than heavy, making this colourway particularly suitable for curtains and bedspreads. Its 73% linen, 24% viscose and 3% polyester composition is supplied at 128 cm wide, with a 79 cm vertical repeat and 64 cm horizontal repeat. The pale ground keeps the dense branching pattern light, while the red and coral flowers provide warm accents against cooler green leaves and ochre sprigs. Care requires professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory ground as the room’s light neutral, then pick up the coral-red flowers with painted woodwork or cushions and echo the olive leaves in upholstery or soft furnishings. As curtains, the branching repeat can create a decorative garden-like backdrop without relying on a dark ground.

A warm ivory ground with red, olive-green and ochre branches, suited to curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
