Backdrop Fuchsia/Blue combines a warm ivory ground with finely arranged vertical stripes in fuchsia, blue, mustard, green and orange. The strong linear layout is punctuated by zigzags, dashes and narrow braided motifs.

About this fabric

Made from 66% linen and 34% polyester, this 134 cm-wide fabric has a clean, lightly woven appearance suited to curtains and bedspreads. Its warm ivory base keeps the design open, while saturated fuchsia and deep blue provide the clearest accents among mustard, green, orange and brown lines. Alternating solid dashes, chevrons, fine zigzags and multicoloured diagonal stripes create a lively vertical rhythm without becoming a dense all-over pattern. The design has a 32 cm vertical repeat and a 67 cm horizontal repeat.

How to use it

Use this colourway for full-length curtains where its vertical striping can read clearly, pairing the ivory ground with warm neutrals and picking out the fuchsia or blue in cushions and bed linen. It also makes a graphic bedspread for a room that suits pattern with a playful, tailored edge.
