Saxon Dove is a pale dove-grey woven fabric with a softly warm, oatmeal undertone. Fine horizontal striations and subtle slubbing give the surface a quietly tactile appearance.

About this fabric

The close weave reads as gently layered rather than flat, with delicate horizontal lines shifting between cool grey and light beige as the surface catches the light. It is made from 44% viscose, 21% linen, 13% polyester, 6% wool, 13% cotton and 3% nylon. The fabric is 137 cm wide and has a subtle 16 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 2.5 cm horizontal repeat. With a 30,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use Saxon Dove to bring a calm, light-toned finish to an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, especially alongside chalky whites, pale timber and softly aged metal. Its fine horizontal texture also makes understated curtains that add warmth without introducing a strong pattern.
