About this fabric

This colourway reads as charcoal grey with a gently warm, earthy cast, while fine tonal variations in the weave keep the dark shade from appearing solid black. A restrained slub and crosswise texture are visible across the surface, adding understated interest to the plain design. The fabric is 138 cm (54.21") wide and combines 50% viscose, 25% linen, 15% cotton and 10% polyester. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care instructions are professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this softened charcoal on a tailored sofa or headboard where its subtle woven texture can temper pale walls and timber. It also makes composed curtains or bedspreads, especially alongside warm neutrals, stone and muted metal finishes.

A versatile charcoal plain weave that brings depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads without introducing a visible pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
