About this fabric

This textile combines a pale parchment-beige ground with a delicate, linear weave that catches the light in fine horizontal bands. The understated surface has a softly irregular, tactile character rather than a bold printed motif, making the colourway feel calm and relaxed. It is 137 cm (53.82 inches) wide and has a 16 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 2.5 cm horizontal repeat. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 30,000 Martindale rub test. After care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Saxon Parchment to upholster a relaxed armchair or sofa where its warm beige tone can sit alongside natural timber, ivory and muted clay shades. It also makes softly coordinated curtains or a bedspread, bringing fine woven texture without adding strong contrast.

A softly textured parchment beige weave suited to relaxed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
