About this fabric

The colour reads as a mellow ochre, with warm amber and tan depth that catches the light across the woven surface. Its close, crosshatched texture shows subtle variations in the linen yarns, giving the plain cloth a naturally tactile appearance. Made from 100% linen and supplied at 137 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered pieces, while care is restricted to professional dry cleaning: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm ochre on a relaxed armchair, loose cover or upholstered headboard, where its golden tone can bring depth without the visual busyness of a pattern. It also works as a softly textured curtain or bedspread fabric alongside natural wood, cream and earthy neutrals.

A warm, tactile ochre linen for relaxed curtains, upholstered seating, bedspreads and softly layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
