About this fabric

This plain velvet reads as a warm ochre-gold, with muted brown undertones that give the colour a grounded, autumnal depth rather than a bright yellow appearance. Fine changes in the pile create gentle vertical tonal variation across the swatch, adding a soft lustre without a visible motif. Made from 100% polyester, it is 137 cm (53.82 inches) wide and suitable for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The fabric has a 50,000 Martindale rub test, making it a practical choice where velvet texture and regular use need to work together.

How to use it

Use this warm ochre on a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtain to bring golden depth into rooms decorated with cream, walnut, olive or charcoal. The softly reflective pile will add richness without introducing a pattern.
