About this fabric

Walk In The Park Blue from the Vita collection by Jane Churchill is a 90% cotton, 10% linen fabric with an approximate width of 138cm and a vertical repeat of 65cm, so the scenic layout has plenty of room to breathe. The print reads as a fine toile-style landscape rather than a bold block motif, with small figures, trees, horses and water scenes picked out in soft sketchy blue. On the pale background the blue sits gently rather than heavily, giving the cloth a fresh, washed impression that feels lighter than a deep navy and less formal than a traditional indigo. The visible surface appears crisp and lightly textured, in keeping with its cotton-linen blend and suitable for versatile use. Fire code √BM and care code Q 8 + T 3 are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern without visual weight: it suits loose curtains, upholstered accent chairs, and headboards in rooms with plenty of daylight. The soft blue ground pairs especially well with white woodwork, sandy neutrals, and painted cabinetry.

A breezy scenic blue that brings a fresh country-house feel to relaxed upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
