Lazare Azur

Lazare FabricM4131-29

Lazare Azur is a serene teal-blue silk with a quiet, refined surface and a soft, low-key lustre. Its plain weave reads clean and fluid, with tiny irregularities that keep the colour feeling natural rather than flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% silk, Lazare Azur has the smooth, breathable hand and subtle sheen you expect from a fine decorative silk, while the approximate 138cm width makes it practical for made-to-measure interior use. The fabric appears as a cool blue-green, sitting between azure and teal, with a muted depth that shifts gently as light moves across it. Its near-plain surface and V 0cm / H 0cm repeat support an uninterrupted finish, ideal when the colour itself is meant to lead. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

This cool teal-blue works beautifully in rooms with pale plaster, chalky white or soft grey, where its colour can read crisp and composed. Use it for curtains or refined occasional upholstery to bring a calm, tailored note without adding pattern noise.

Use for elegant curtains or light upholstery accents to let the silk’s subtle sheen do the work.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
