About this fabric

Woven in 100% silk and measuring approximately 138cm wide, this fabric has a fine, lightly slubbed texture that reads elegant and tactile in the swatch. The colour is a warm cumin gold with a honeyed undertone, sitting between mustard and antique saffron without looking brash. A very low-key horizontal grain and faint irregularities in the weave give the surface depth, while the overall finish remains refined and fluid. With no repeat and no performance features noted, it is best appreciated for its pure material quality and understated sheen.

How to use it

This shade works beautifully on statement curtains, upholstered accent chairs or a padded headboard where its golden warmth can soften stone, walnut or deep green interiors. Pair it with ivory, tobacco or muted olive for a grounded scheme with a little glow.

Use this warm gold silk where you want a polished glow with a soft, understated sheen.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
