Tino Prairie

Java FabricM4148-06

Tino Prairie in Java reads as a soft greeny yellow, with a tiny repeating motif that gives the surface a gentle woven rhythm. The colour has a warm, slightly grassy cast rather than a hard lemon brightness.

About this fabric

Woven in 92% viscose and 8% polyester, this fabric has a smooth, lightly lustrous look that suits decorative soft furnishings as well as tailored upholstery. The small repeat of approximately V 4cm and H 7cm creates an orderly scattered pattern that feels crisp at close range but calm from a distance. Its 140cm approximate width makes it practical for a range of interior applications, while the green-tinged yellow palette keeps the design feeling fresh and understated. The light catches the motif softly, so the pattern reads as pale cream against a muted citrine ground rather than as a high-contrast graphic.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, dining seats or Roman blinds where the mellow yellow-green shade can add warmth without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with pale timber, chalky whites and soft olive accents.

A fresh, sunlit tone that lifts both upholstery and curtains without feeling too bright.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
