Tino Ciel

Java FabricM4148-09

Tino Ciel shows a tightly repeated small geometric motif set over a cool teal-blue ground. The pale cream detailing gives the design a crisp, graphic rhythm that reads clearly even at a distance.

About this fabric

This fabric is from the Java collection by Manuel Canovas and is composed of 92% viscose and 8% polyester, with a width of approximately 140cm and a repeat of V 4cm / H 7cm approx. The weave appears smooth and fine, with a soft surface sheen that suits the clean, regular pattern. In this colourway, the teal-blue background feels fresh and slightly mineral, while the light motif lifts the pattern and keeps it airy rather than heavy. It is a versatile textile for curtains or lighter upholstery where a neat, tailored look is wanted.

How to use it

Use Tino Ciel on a slipper chair, occasional headboard, or relaxed curtains to bring a cool patterned note into a scheme. It works particularly well with pale woods, chalky neutrals, and brushed brass accents.

The cool teal ground and pale motif make it an easy way to add pattern without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
