Marrakech Vert d'Eau

Jalore FabricM4164-01

Marrakech Vert d'Eau brings a cool, water-softened green to the Jalore stripe, with pale aqua notes set against brighter leafy bands. The vertical rhythm feels fresh and airy in the cloth, but the textured weave stops it from looking flat or overly crisp.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is woven in a substantial blend of 40% viscose, 34% jute, 16% linen and 10% polyester, giving the stripe a natural slubbed handle with a little sheen in the lighter ground. The repeat is approximately V 1cm / H 72cm, and the broad vertical stripes read clearly across the 144cm width. In this colourway, the palette alternates between muted eau green, pale misty blue-green and a brighter mossy green, with narrow darker accents that sharpen the outline of each stripe. It has enough substance for upholstery, while the breathable linen-jute character also suits drapery and relaxed decorative panels.

How to use it

Use it on a pair of tailored armchairs or loose curtains where the cool green-blue stripes can add height and movement. It works especially well with bleached timber, chalky walls and other soft natural textures.

Pair with pale oak and linen for a fresh, quietly tropical scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
