About this fabric

Woven in 100% silk and measuring approximately 138cm wide, Lazare in Ecureuil has a refined, lightweight feel that suits elegant window dressing. The cloth appears plain rather than patterned, with a visible silk texture that gives the surface a gentle irregularity and a subtle shimmer as the light moves across it. This colourway sits between terracotta and golden orange, so it feels warmer and more softly muted than a bright citrus tone. The zero repeat makes it especially straightforward to use for full-width drapery, and the BM fire code adds a practical specification for residential and contract schemes.

How to use it

Use Ecureuil to bring warmth to a room with stone, oak or brass accents, where its apricot glow will soften hard surfaces. It works beautifully for tailored curtains, relaxed Roman blinds or decorative cushions that need a lifted, sunny note.

Use for elegant curtains or soft decorative pieces where the silk’s glow can take centre stage.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
