About this fabric

Woven in 80% cotton and 20% polyester, this Manuel Canovas fabric has a calm, structured handle that reads as a versatile mid-weight. The repeat is 0cm vertically and horizontally, so the emphasis stays on the texture rather than a visible pattern. At approximately 138cm wide, Iris Curcuma is a practical cloth for coordinated upholstery or drapery projects. The visible shade is a deep curcuma ochre with a slightly earthy cast, and the fine ribbing catches the light to create soft bands of tone across the surface.

How to use it

Use this colourway with walnut timber, aged brass and cream upholstery to bring out its warm, spiced character. It also works well as a grounded curtain fabric where you want colour without a loud pattern.

A warm ochre tone that works neatly across tailored seating and soft drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
