Iris Champagne

Iris FabricM4084-07

Iris Champagne reads as a soft, luminous beige with a gentle champagne warmth and a finely ribbed texture. The colour feels calm and polished, with just enough depth to avoid looking flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 80% cotton and 20% polyester, this fabric has a light-to-mid weight handle and a very subtle horizontal striation that gives the surface quiet movement. The repeat is listed as V 0cm / H 0cm approx, so the effect is clean and uninterrupted rather than patterned. Its champagne beige tone is warm rather than yellow, with a mellow, lightly toasted cast that softens beautifully in natural light. At approx. 138cm wide, it is a versatile cloth for schemes that need a neutral with a touch more richness than plain cream.

How to use it

Use Iris Champagne on a tailored sofa, headboard or dining chairs where you want a restrained, elegant neutral. It also suits drapery in rooms with pale woods, stone and brass, where the warm beige tone will feel inviting rather than stark.

A refined neutral that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
