Helia Stripe Blue

Zander Velvets VelvetJ0299-05

Helia Stripe Blue is a finely striped velvet with a calm, washed blue ground and slender pale lines running through it. The effect is neat and understated, with a soft sheen that lifts the stripe without making it feel sharp.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool, muted blue with a silvery cast, set off by narrow lighter stripes that create a clean vertical rhythm. The velvet surface gives the fabric a gentle depth rather than a flat print look, and the fine repeat of V 0cm / H 1cm approx keeps the stripe tightly tailored. Woven in a 144cm approx width and composed of 42% Viscose, 33% Cotton and 25% Polyester, it has the body and handle expected of a velvet. The overall impression is smart but restrained, with enough texture to soften the precision of the stripe. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it on compact upholstery, cushions or a tailored chair where the cool blue stripe can add structure without heaviness. It also works well against chalk white, pale oak or brushed chrome for a fresh, composed scheme.

A crisp blue stripe that feels tailored and fresh on a compact upholstered piece or neat blind.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
