About this fabric

This Zander Velvets colourway reads as a mossy, olive-leaning green with a dappled, almost striated texture that gives the velvet extra movement. The surface catches the light in a muted way, so the darker yarns sit against a pale base rather than appearing flat or uniform. It is a 140cm-wide velvet composed of 55% polyester, 39% viscose and 6% recycled cotton, giving it the substance expected of an upholstery fabric. The vertical repeat is approximately 43cm and the horizontal repeat approximately 35cm, which supports the design’s layered, organic look. With no performance finish noted and fire code K, it suits schemes where the colour and texture are the main focus.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or bench where the olive tone can contrast with oak, walnut or painted joinery. It also works well with chalky neutrals and softened botanical greens for a calm, tailored room.

A grounded green velvet that adds depth without feeling too heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
