About this fabric
Lanius Forest from Jane Churchill’s Gustav collection is a textile fabric with a repeat of approximately V 91cm and H 35cm, and a width of approximately 140cm. Its composition of 80% viscose, 15% polyester, 4% linen and 1% polyamide gives the cloth a softly tactile surface with a subtle lustre and enough body for a versatile decorative use. In this colourway, the dominant deep forest green is broken up by lighter khaki-green markings, creating a camouflage-like pixelated effect that feels earthy rather than bright. The overall impression is cool, dense and textural, with the darker grounds absorbing light and the paler flecks adding movement across the surface.
How to use it
Use Lanius Forest where you want a statement green that still feels restrained, such as relaxed curtains, a feature chair or an accent headboard. It pairs well with oak, walnut, aged brass and warm neutrals that let the layered green tones stand out.
