About this fabric

Rene Berry Multi from the Gustav collection by Jane Churchill is a woven textile with a repeat of approximately V 8cm / H 17cm and a width of approximately 136cm. Its composition is 59% viscose, 20% polyester, 15% cotton and 6% linen, giving the cloth a slightly lustrous, textured handle. The swatch shows narrow, banded rows of berry, olive, blush and cream, so the overall effect is warm and multicoloured rather than bright or primary. The fine, regular pattern reads as energetic at close range but settles into a richly mottled surface from a little distance. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

The berry and olive notes work well with walnut, ebonised wood and brushed brass, especially in rooms that can handle a little pattern movement. It would also bring character to simple curtains or a compact upholstered chair without overwhelming the scheme.

Use for tailored upholstery or lined drapery when you want a lively woven surface with plenty of depth.
