Lanius Navy

Gustav FabricJ0205-03

Lanius Navy pairs a crisp, pixelated geometric pattern with a deep navy ground that reads almost ink-black in places. The taupe accents break up the surface and give the design a sharper, more graphic edge.

About this fabric

This Gustav fabric by Jane Churchill is composed of 80% viscose, 15% polyester, 4% linen and 1% polyamide, with an approximate width of 140cm and a repeat of V 91cm / H 35cm. In this navy colourway, the pattern has a layered, almost mosaic effect, with dark blue fields interrupted by pale taupe blocks and speckled detailing. The surface looks softly textured rather than flat, which helps the motif catch the light and keeps the overall effect refined. The scale and mid-weight feel make it versatile for both tailored upholstery and statement drapery.

How to use it

Pair it with pale oak, brushed brass and plain taupe upholstery to let the navy pattern stay bold without feeling too heavy. It also works well in a study or hallway where the dark ground can add structure and depth.

Use this deep navy colourway to add graphic depth without losing a tailored, contemporary feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
