Ellis Aqua

Hartwell FabricJ0160-12

Ellis Aqua is a fine vertical stripe with a cool, watery presence and a soft, washed appearance. The slim pale lines sit against a light aqua ground, giving the fabric a crisp but gentle rhythm.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Ellis Aqua has a neat, tightly spaced stripe that reads clean and airy rather than bold. The repeat is V 0cm / H 1cm approx, which keeps the pattern regular and understated across the width. At approx. 135cm wide, it is a practical fabric for a range of interior uses, and the surface has a soft, slightly matte handle in the image. The aqua colouring is light and cool, with enough white threaded through it to keep the overall effect fresh and quietly nautical.

How to use it

This pale aqua stripe works well on relaxed chairs, daybeds, or tailored curtains where a fresh, coastal feel is wanted. It pairs especially well with white paintwork, driftwood tones, and gentle greys.

Pair with pale oak or chalky neutrals for a fresh, airy finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
