About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Hartwell fabric has a small vertical stripe repeat of approximately 1cm across a width of about 135cm. The narrow red striping sits on a light ground, creating a fresh contrast that reads clear and orderly rather than bold or dark. Its close stripe pattern gives the cloth a smart, lightly traditional feel, while the cotton handle suggests versatility for both upholstery and drapery use. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Ellis Red works well for a chair, bench cushion or Roman blind where the fine stripe can add structure without overpowering the room. Pair the soft raspberry red with warm white, painted wood and natural textures to keep the look bright and refined.

Use for tailored blinds, crisp cushions or a neat upholstered accent with a fresh, classic feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
